Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Providence Seaside Hospital. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent education/experience.
  • Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
