Barista

Better Buzz Coffee is a San Diego-based business that has been serving up high-quality coffee and a welcoming atmosphere since 2002.

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at our Coronado location. As a Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food items, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.

• Deliver fast and friendly service to our guests, with a focus on creating a community-driven coffee experience.
• Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our coffee, tea, and food offerings, and be able to make recommendations to our guests.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently, adhering to all recipe standards.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and special tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and inviting store environment, including the cafe area, kitchen, and restrooms.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in fast-paced food service or hospitality.
• Previous experience in a coffee shop or cafe environment is a plus.
• Cooking experience is a definite asset.
• Guest service-focused, solution-oriented, collaborative, and value team work.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs, including weekends and holidays.
