Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist

Responsible for overseeing and collecting on all assessment customer accounts, as well as coordinating third-party collection efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Provides exceptional customer service for all collection phone inquiries related to assessments.
- Serves as the liaison for all third-party services to maximize collection of assessment dollars.
- Coordinates the sending of late notices for all assessment accounts due.
- Facilitates proactive collection calls for past due assessments.
- Performs monthly reconciliation of related subledger receivable accounts.
- Provides property, member, and delinquency metric reports to management on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Collaborates with Member Services as needed for customer service related to assessments.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Good customer service and phone skills.
- Attention to detail and experience with managing data records required.
- 2-3 years' experience with accounts receivables or collections preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
Mathematical Skills:Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reasoning Ability:Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions and deal with standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Requires a valid Arkansas driver's license and clean driving record with proof of liability insurance.
