Job Summary:

The Preoperative Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the preoperative setting. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients preoperatively to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
  • Develop and implement educational programs to promote patient understanding and empowerment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the preoperative setting
  • Current RN licensure and certification in ACLS, PALS, and BLS
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
