Cancer Genetic Counselor Role

We are seeking a skilled Cancer Genetic Counselor to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a Cancer Genetic Counselor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals determine their risk for cancer and providing guidance on genetic testing and counseling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive family history intakes and provide genetic counseling to patients.
  • Order genetic testing and provide risk assessments to patients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Research Team to advance the care of individuals affected by genetic conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and genetic testing results.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Genetics or Genetic Counseling.
  • American Board of Medical Genetics - Genetic Counseling certification.
