Perishable Associate

As a Perishable Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and freshness of our perishable products, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible shopping experience.

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to Food Lion's high standards of quality and safety.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a positive and memorable experience.
• Receive and process deliveries, rotating and stocking products in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure that all products are properly labeled, priced, and displayed, adhering to Food Lion's visual merchandising standards.
• Process beef and grinds as directed, maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and sanitized department, adhering to Food Lion's food safety and workplace safety guidelines.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you are equipped to meet the demands of the role.

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
