We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to perform Disability Assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
You will document exam findings electronically through the web portal, but will not make disability determinations - that responsibility lies with the United States Veterans Administration.
This position involves performing Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, and requires a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
Key attributes for success in this role include:
- Ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Skilled time management and ability to stay on task to meet requirements.
- Proficient computer skills.
Requirements for this position include:
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license from any state.
- Meets credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.

- Typical day: 3 to 5 patients a day.
This is an in-person position with a set schedule during normal business hours, and does not require on-call work.
All work is performed in a clinical setting.
