Highly Skilled Medsurg Clinical Nurse Coordinator Wanted for Grand Strand Medical Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Grand Strand Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts.

Our 300+ bed hospital is one of the region's leading acute care facilities, offering a range of services including the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program, pediatric intensive care unit, Level I trauma center with two free-standing emergency departments, advanced wound care center, breast cancer center, and Carolina Forest Imaging Center.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring and delivering high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts
- Directing, monitoring, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures
- Serving as a resource person for staff and modeling a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes
- Assisting with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care
- Participating in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team
- Supporting the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
