We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Houston Methodist West Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular radiology and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with complex interventional and therapeutic radiologic procedures, including coronary angioplasty, stents, and electrophysiology procedures.
- Participate in the direct patient care team, scrubbing into cases to assist with equipment movement and radiation control.
- Mentor and educate Cath Lab Rad Tech I's, Cath Lab RN's, and students on specialized procedures and techniques.
- Deliver exceptional patient care and adhere to radiation safety standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to promote a positive work environment and contribute to a dynamic, team-focused work unit.
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
- At least 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist, or equivalent experience with Houston Methodist.
- ARRT-R, CMRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and team player skills, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
