Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Professional to join our team at Spencer Gifts Oxford Valley Mall location. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining guest services, efficiently operating the point-of-sale system, and supporting store management in generating sales, conducting housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, and loss prevention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high levels of guest service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Efficiently operate the point-of-sale system, maintaining security of cash and accurate inventory records
  • Support store management in generating sales through effective merchandise presentation, visual displays, and promotional activities
  • Conduct regular housekeeping tasks, including dusting, restocking shelves, and maintaining store appearance
  • Assist with merchandising, including signing, pricing, and displaying merchandise
  • Participate in loss prevention initiatives, monitoring store activity and reporting any incidents or concerns

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
