Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose speech and language capabilities considering educational, medical, social, and psychological aspects.
  • Design and implement rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring communication abilities for individuals facing various communication challenges.
  • Offer counseling and language development therapy to individuals with disabilities.
  • Examine patient records to gather background information prior to assessments, ensuring appropriate testing methods are utilized.
  • Administer, evaluate, and interpret specialized auditory and speech assessments.
  • Review and adjust treatment plans based on individual progress and needs.
  • Engage in research to innovate diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Possesses a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Holds the necessary state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing or is capable of obtaining it.
  • Maintains a current CPR/AED/BLS certification or can secure it before commencing employment.
  • Exhibits the ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the assigned shift.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in both written and verbal communication.
  • Possesses strong computer skills, including proficiency in databases and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Can work independently and collaboratively within a team environment without constant oversight.
  • Commits to maintaining confidentiality.
