Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Surgical department at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph. As a RN Med Surg Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to professional standards and evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
