Position Overview:
A Registered Nurse at BHMC-Little Rock is responsible for applying the nursing process and the training provided by the organization to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
The RN must be familiar with and comprehend the policies and procedures of the department, as well as the organizational requirements, and integrate them into a cohesive workflow with the healthcare team to ensure an outstanding patient experience with optimal outcomes.
Additional Information:
A recent RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or a Registered Nurse in good standing, licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. The candidate should apply fundamental knowledge and skills to meet the standard of care and be capable of functioning as a full partner within an interdisciplinary team. This position is for an RN who is not currently engaged in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program. Healthcare CPR certification is mandatory, and some areas may necessitate ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS training, which will be provided. Specialty units will require and offer specific educational opportunities.
This position will be authorized for 0.01 hours bi-weekly.
