Job Summary

IDS International is seeking a Security Monitor to support a federal agency escort program on active construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of personnel and sensitive systems on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and confirm that all uncleared personnel are free of prohibited items as outlined in the provided list.
  • Promptly report any concerns to onsite focal points.
  • Work in project areas where sensitive systems are in operation, adhering to customer-mandated security protocols.
  • Adhere to restricted area site security requirements.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused demeanor.
  • Maintain demonstrated operational knowledge of site security procedures and policies.
Worksite Conditions
  • Work in and around active construction areas, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Work in industrial locations, including mechanical and electrical rooms.
  • Perform duties in various weather conditions.
  • Work in alternative locations as required, including government holidays.
  • Night and off-hours work may be required.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence Scope polygraph.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk long distances, climb stairs and ladders, and sit/stand for extended periods.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions in accordance with site directives.
