Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Station Manager to join our team at Atlas Air, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all ground operations and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all ground operations, including cargo and passenger handling, to ensure safe and timely arrival and departure procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with established operational procedures and guidelines to provide a safe work environment.
  • Strive to achieve station on-time performance goals and monitor staff training requirements to ensure all staff training is current.
  • Partner with the Station Manager to achieve operational and administrative objectives, including establishing safety goals and initiatives.
  • Ensure airport SIDA rules and policies are complied with and act as a communication conduit to resolve any problems and respond to special requests.
  • Assist with oversight on flight-specific requirements, manage PPE and aircraft inventory, and write and submit reports as directed.
  • Respond to staff and customer questions, problems, requests, and complaints, and partner with the Station Manager to meet with customers and vendors on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with the Station Manager in station-related problems arising from vendor or service providers and may assist in attending meetings with the airport authority, regulatory bodies, and other airport stakeholders as requested.
  • Support the Station Manager in driving station performance and regulatory compliance through effective oversight and engagement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in passenger and/or cargo operations, including customer service and supervisory experience.
  • Must be qualified in all areas of Passenger and/or Cargo operations.
  • Ability to understand and use Microsoft Office software, specifically in database, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Must be able to motivate and lead staff through a project from concept to completion in a fast-paced time-critical environment.
  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks and complete difficult matrices to ensure all tasks are followed through from start to finish.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform all aspects of Ground and Cargo Ops, including Loadmaster, handling hazardous materials, de-icing, fueling, catering, security, etc.

Salary Range

$59,000-$79,500

Financial offer within the stated range is contingent on the qualification of selected candidates.
