Responsibilities
  • Provide Basic Bedside Care: Administer basic care to patients, including vital sign monitoring, wound cleaning and dressing, and providing emotional support.
  • Perform Minor Medical Operations: Conduct minor medical procedures, such as suturing and casting, under the supervision of a physician.
  • Advise Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families on illnesses, injuries, and treatment plans, promoting informed decision-making and self-care.
  • Plan Long-Term Care Needs: Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Document Medical History: Accurately record patient medical history, including allergies, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Monitor Patients' Emotional and Physical Well-being: Regularly assess patients' emotional and physical status, identifying potential issues and developing strategies to address them.
Requirements
  • Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and NIH Certifications
  • 3 Years of Experience in Emergency Room Nursing
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to Lift 20 Pounds and Stand for Long Periods
