About the Job Description

This role is responsible for providing direct support to students with special needs in an Early Childhood/Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with diverse abilities and needs, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and implementing lesson plans
  • Provide individualized support to students, including behavioral guidance and accommodations
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution (in progress or completed)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with students with special needs (preferably in EC/PK/K settings)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certifications or training in areas such as CPR, First Aid, and crisis intervention
