Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vascular Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room workflow.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including medication administration, wound care, and pain management.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examination.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operating room efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a vascular operating room setting.
  • Experience with open vascular surgery cases, including amputations and abdominal aortic repairs.
  • Experience with hybrid/endovascular cases, including peripheral angiograms, venograms, and endovascular repairs.
  • AHA certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, with a strong focus on vascular surgery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including EPIC.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
