About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Plant Supervisor to join our team at the City of Atlanta.

The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience in a wastewater plant or a related area, with a strong background in water treatment operations and management.

Responsibilities will include supervising a team of operators, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

About the Job

This is a senior-level position that requires a high level of expertise in water treatment processes, including laboratory testing, chemical dosing, and equipment operation.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $45,539 and $75,969 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • 5 years of work experience in a wastewater plant or a related area
  • Valid State of Georgia Drivers License
  • Class III Water Distribution License
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to hazardous materials.

A valid driver's license and Forklift Certification are desirable but not essential.
