Job Summary:The primary purpose of this role is to perform a variety of tasks that require cleaning, trash removal, laundry, and meal cleanup in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as Solaris HealthCare's established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean hard floors, including mopping, sweeping, stripping, waxing, and buffing, while ensuring caution/safety signs are set up prior to performing such duties.
- Clean carpets, including vacuuming, spot cleaning, and extracting, using proper chemicals according to Facility Cleaning procedures, and ensuring caution/safety signs are set up prior to performing such duties.
- Clean baseboards in resident rooms and common areas, maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Report any burnt-out lights, including exit lights, room lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, and room call lights, to your supervisor for repair or replacement.
- Dispose of trash in assigned receptacles, reline with new liners, and clean as needed, reporting any damage to your supervisor for repair or replacement.
- Maintain and clean equipment, including vacuums, buffers, extractors, and floor fans, through a regular maintenance program, reporting any needed repairs to your supervisor.
- Wear proper PPE while handling chemicals and follow proper and safe work practices and procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in the Healthcare Industry a plus.
