About the Role:

As a CNC Machinist at Kennametal Inc., you will play a critical role in delivering productivity to our customers through materials science, tooling, and wear-resistant solutions. With over 80 years of experience as an industrial technology leader, we are committed to helping our customers manufacture with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality parts
Perform pre-operation checks and safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment
Select and install CNC programs, making minor adjustments as needed to meet product specifications
Suggest and submit major CNC program changes and efficiency improvements to supervisor/technician/engineer

Requirements:

High school diploma or general equivalent diploma
Completion of basic math, blueprint reading, and gauge-reading training
Ability to understand written and oral instructions and communicate with supervisors and coworkers
A minimum of three years of turning, milling, and/or Bar & Chucking Machine Operator experience
A forklift operator's license
Basic knowledge and understanding of computer applications and software
