Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Therapy Services Team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide therapeutic interventions to patients under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic interventions as directed by the Occupational Therapist
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify interventions as necessary
  • Document patient care and progress made toward goals
  • Provide patient and/or family education to help achieve goals
  • Assist with orientation of new staff as requested
  • Meet KHI's requirements for skills competency and safety
  • Participate in continuing education/professional development activities
  • Assist with the Occupational Therapy Assistant student program
  • Participate in staff meetings, client relations, and marketing activities
  • Complete billing by the end of each shift, accurate and meets reasonable and necessary requirements
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree through an OTA program
  • Current OTA licensure through the Arizona State Board
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with an adult and geriatric population
  • Education/experience serving people with physical disabilities
