Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Technician to join our team at Strata Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, setup, and repair of our Ready Mix Concrete plants and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Ready Mix Concrete plants and equipment, including air compressors, conveyors, and water pumps.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in the setup and calibration of new equipment, and ensure all systems are functioning properly.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment, including forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts replaced, and prepare reports as required.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth plant operations and meet production targets.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • Formal technical training or equivalent experience in millwrighting or a related field.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including data entry and spreadsheet creation.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with training provided as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of electrical systems and welding techniques.
  • Experience with Ready Mix Concrete plant setup and repair.
  • Formal technical training in millwrighting or a related field.
