Job Title: Batch Mixer

We are seeking a skilled Batch Mixer to join our team at Woodland Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for processing and blending our products in accordance with our quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate blending machines to mix ingredients according to batch sheets and mixing instructions.
  • Report production activities and ensure accurate documentation of production runs.
  • Train on Lockout/Tagout procedures and adhere to production schedules.
  • Set up and operate cutting or grinding equipment to reduce particle size of ingredients.
  • Complete HACCP and quality paperwork on a daily basis.
  • Order products and packaging from material handlers and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform routine adjustments and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience with blending or processing equipment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of general warehouse operations and food industry experience a plus.
  • Ability to lift 55lbs. and team lift anything over 55lbs.
  • Must follow all Woodland Foods GMPs and work consistently with food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, walking, and frequent bending and movement around the facility. Climbing ladders and maneuvering in small spaces are also required.

Work Environment:

This role is based in an office and manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, odors, and noise.
