Position Overview:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. This position offers flexible scheduling options, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess speech and language capabilities, including articulation, fluency, and voice disorders.
  • Implement and oversee speech therapy interventions to aid in the rehabilitation of individuals with speech and language impairments.
  • Analyze medical histories, conduct assessments, and formulate individualized therapy plans.
  • Develop and execute intervention strategies tailored to the needs of each individual.
  • Educate clients, their families, and caregivers to promote optimal communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Coordinate home care services to ensure comprehensive support for individuals.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting as a Speech Therapist.
  • Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.
  • Successful completion of local and/or state background checks.
  • Strong communication skills to foster effective relationships.
