- Interpret cardiac rhythms and other diagnostic tests, particularly for patients with cardiac conditions.
- Evaluate patient overall health and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Administer medications safely, including IV medications, pain management drugs, and other prescribed treatments.
- Monitor patients' reactions to medications and adjust care as needed.
- Manage central lines, chest tubes, ventilators, and other advanced medical equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate changes in patient status promptly to physicians and other team members.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 2 years related experience
- Familiarity with Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Program guidelines
- Vents, IV starts, PICC management
- Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS Certification
- Telemetry Certification
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN)
- Health/Dental/Vision Insurance
