Position Summary: In the capacity of Quality Assurance Manager, you will be tasked with the implementation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the organization's quality systems and protocols. Your oversight will encompass all quality-related dimensions of manufacturing operations, from the initial handling of materials to the final stages of product distribution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Refine and oversee the company's quality management system and operational procedures
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and quality management frameworks
  • Lead quality enhancement initiatives utilizing advanced methodologies such as FMEA, Control Plans, CAPA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis
  • Conduct thorough audits to ensure adherence to all quality benchmarks
  • Monitor and document the conformance of materials and components, addressing any discrepancies swiftly
  • Comprehend and manage all facets of plant operations, including receiving, material handling, manufacturing, packaging, and shipping
  • Drive ongoing improvement through data analysis, project management, and process documentation
  • Prepare and deliver management reports and quality performance indicators
  • Facilitate quality training programs and lead problem-solving teams
  • Advise on quality tools, software, and systems
  • Ensure timely documentation of nonconforming products and effectively communicate issues for resolution
  • Guarantee compliance with ISO9001 standards
  • Oversee quality standards related to welding and painting processes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance
  • 3-5 years of experience in the heavy manufacturing industry
  • CWI certification is advantageous
  • Experience in welding and painting processes
  • Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies
  • Thorough understanding of industry standards and quality management systems
  • Demonstrated success in leading audit processes and ensuring quality compliance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply sound judgment in technical matters
