Role Overview:
As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will develop and execute personalized nutrition plans and assess the effectiveness of these interventions for your assigned pediatric patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive nutritional care. Your expertise will be vital in providing education and support to patients dealing with obesity and diabetes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement tailored nutrition therapy for pediatric patients.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nutrition plans as necessary.
  • Coordinate nutritional care with healthcare professionals across various disciplines.
  • Deliver nutritional education to patients and their families.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics (Required), Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition, Master's Degree in Dietetics (Required), Master's Degree in Food and Nutrition.

Experience:
Experience in adult weight management and as a Registered Dietitian is preferred.

Certifications:
Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration, Dietitian/Nutritionist license from the Mississippi State Department of Health, and Tennessee Board of Dietitians/Nutritionist Examiners.
