About the Role:
Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Perinatal Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team in Irvine, California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Monitor patients' conditions and provide timely interventions as needed
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that reflect assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient information
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities to enhance patient safety and quality of care
Requirements:
- One year recent experience in L&D or successful completion of a KP L&D course within the last 12 months
- Registered Nurse License (California)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Work Environment:
Kaiser Permanente's hospital in Irvine, California offers a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.
Estimated Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000 per year, based on experience.
