Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at AmSpec Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory analysis and reporting of various products, including Crude Oil, Fuel Oils, Middle Distillates, Petroleum and Petrochemicals, LPG and LNG gases.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory analysis and testing of various products
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of laboratory safety and reporting techniques
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely laboratory reports
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as required
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless laboratory operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or equivalent work experience in a laboratory setting
• Strong understanding of ASTM standards and procedures
• Ability to work with a variety of chemical, petrochemical, and petroleum products
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
