The salary for this position ranges from $23.26 to $27.91 based on experience and certifications, along with an additional $4.57 in fringe benefits applicable towards insurance and retirement plans.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and repairs on stormwater and wastewater systems.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of surrounding areas of stormwater and wastewater facilities.
- Transport equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain and repair tools and machinery as required.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned.
- Understanding of the mechanics and operations of sewage treatment plant pumps and systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in wastewater or stormwater maintenance.
- Certification in Wastewater II or Wastewater III.
- Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must be a U.S. citizen to access military installations.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks including climbing, stooping, and lifting.
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to various environmental conditions including dust, noise, and hazardous materials.
