Key Responsibilities
  • Member Transactions: Process a wide range of member transactions, including receiving and disbursing funds, posting deposits and loan payments, transfers, money orders, cash advances, and all types of withdrawals.
  • Account Maintenance: Open savings, checking, and certificate of deposit accounts, as needed, and perform a wide variety of account maintenance tasks, including change of address and name change.
  • Plastic Card Services: Process plastic card services, such as issuing temporary cards, re-pinning existing cards, and ordering new cards.
  • Recommendations: Recommend other products and services to members, as appropriate, to meet their financial needs.
  • Compliance and Training: Complete compliance training and other training offered to Relationship Specialists.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate records of sales transactions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance member experiences and improve branch operations.
  • Professional Representation: Represent the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of related branch operations experience.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of all deposit account products and services, as well as applicable Federal, State, and NCUA regulations.
  • Skills: Basic math skills, ability to operate office machines, and proficiency in PC and Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Education: High School or Equivalent.
