Job Responsibilities

As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for developing sheet metal flat patterns, selecting materials, and safely fabricating components using equipment such as saws, shears, and drills. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and complying with OSHA regulations and company guidelines.

Requirements

* Experience in light-gage sheet metal fabrication using steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum materials, etc.
* Welding skills, especially processing aluminum, desired but not required.
* Familiarity and experience with metal finishing techniques and metal finishing equipment.
* Ability to read and perform basic math as it applies to metal fabrication.
* Competent in interpreting metal fabrication production orders, patterns, and method layouts.
* High School diploma/equivalent. Familiar with all metal fabrication safety procedures. One year of vocational training in fabricating sheet metal or related field, or two years fabrication and/or welding experience.
