Job Description for Roofing Foreman

Job Summary:

1st Class Roofing Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roofing Foreman to lead our roofing crew and oversee the installation of roofing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely set up project sites, including equipment and material staging.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Maintain accurate truck logs and perform routine maintenance on company vehicles.
  • Complete daily project reports and identify potential safety hazards.
  • Work closely with the project superintendent to set daily goals and direct the crew to meet those objectives.
  • Coordinate project activities with interior operations and protect building contents during construction.
  • Oversee the installation of roofing materials and ensure a high-quality finished product.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members, project supervisors, and business owners.
  • Maintain project sites in a neat and orderly fashion.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in roofing.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
