Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineering Manager to join our team in Corvallis, OR. This full-time position offers top-tier compensation, benefits, and work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading engineering teams, allocating resources, and managing tools and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Grow and develop your team's capacity and capabilities as needed to meet the demand for resources and services. Hire AC-caliber candidates and allocate team resources to projects.
  • Tools & Processes: Identify and manage the team's tools and resources, including software packages and hardware. Develop and adhere to standards, processes, tools, templates, and best practices that build and sustain the AC brand.
  • Management of Direct Reports: Support and grow direct reports through coaching, mentorship, and training. Address performance issues through coaching, disciplinary action, or dismissal.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university.
  • 6+ years of experience designing complex automated systems as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • The ability to work closely with and maintain healthy relationships through fast-paced high-pressure project cycles.
  • Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule up to 40%.
  • A valid U.S. Driver's License and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
