Job Description

As a Nursing Assistant Trainee, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential skills in providing care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include engaging in training programs, learning and applying fundamental nursing skills under supervision, assisting nursing staff in providing daily care to residents, supporting residents with activities of daily living, and collaborating with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures
  • Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision
  • Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents
  • Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill, passion for healthcare and a desire to learn and grow in a Long-Term Care setting, a compassionate and empathetic nature, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
