Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Simulation Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art simulation systems for automotive validation testing. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be a part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop simulator hardware and software model test systems for automotive verification testing
* Create simulated environments to enable dynamic testing in a laboratory
* Program, configure and update simulation test equipment to enable new and emerging feature level testing
* Create software models to simulate hardware in test system
* Develop scripts to automate testing and generate test reports

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related engineering degree
* 2+ years of experience with creating MATLAB & Simulink plant models that run in the real-time simulation hardware
* 2+ years of experience programming with LabVIEW and NI tools
* 2+ years of experience with design and modification of simulation test systems
* 2+ years of experience with test engineering and test design using simulation

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering degree
* 5+ years of experience with creating MATLAB & Simulink plant models that run in the real-time simulation hardware
* 5+ years of experience with programming with LabVIEW and NI tools
* 5+ years of experience with design and modification of simulation test systems
* 5+ years of experience with test engineering and test design using simulation
