Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Edgemont Healthcare Staffing. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, X-ray machines, and MRI machines
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • ARRT CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (CT required)
  • BLS-(AHA)
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience
