Vituity is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our team at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting physicians and healthcare providers while gaining valuable experience in the field.

About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with Dr. Carmichael on a 7am-7pm or 12pm-10pm shift, rotating through different locations and working at various medical facilities. You will have firsthand exposure to a clinical setting, perfect for undergraduates or post-baccalaureate students pursuing a career in healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately document patient information and medical history
  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers with clinical tasks and procedures
  • Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
  • Available to work on-site in the evenings and overnight remote shifts
  • Responsible and mature demeanor with a passion for medicine
  • Strong writing and typing skills
  • Experience with medical terminology and human anatomy preferred
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption
