">Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill a 13-week travel nursing position in our Labor & Delivery unit. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional outcomes.
About the Role
">This opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the ability to develop your skills and expertise in labor and delivery, mother-baby, newborn nursery, and couplet care. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience in gynecology surgery and may float to Med/Surg if no patients are available in primary units.
Responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing labor and delivery procedures, as well as those requiring mother-baby, newborn nursery, and couplet care services.">
- Provide supportive care to gynecology surgery patients, addressing their physical and emotional needs throughout their hospital stay.">
- In collaboration with other healthcare professionals, contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans that prioritize patient safety and satisfaction.">
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.">
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions and coordinate care across departments.">
- Foster a culture of excellence by participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.">
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs and achieve desired outcomes.">
Requirements
">- ">
- Possess current RN licensure and maintain active registration in good standing.">
- Have at least 1 year of experience working in Labor & Delivery and OB units, with a strong foundation in patient care and critical thinking.">
- Hold certifications in BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring, or equivalent.">
- Demonstrate proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other relevant software systems.">
- Exhibit excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.">
- Meet Cynet Health's credentialing and onboarding requirements.">
