About the Role

The Accounting Warranty Clerk at Bartow Ford will be responsible for supporting the accounting department in processing warranty claims, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various accounting tasks.


Key Responsibilities
  • Process warranty claims by verifying required documentation and ensuring compliance with company and manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date warranty claim records
  • Assist in reconciling warranty payments and ensuring timely reimbursement from manufacturers
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues
  • Prepare and distribute reports related to warranty claims and payments
  • Assist with other accounting tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements
  • Must submit to a background check and drug test
  • Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Prior experience in an accounting role is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
