Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Project Superintendent to oversee and coordinate the field operations of diverse civil construction projects, particularly focusing on bridge construction. This role demands a professional with robust management capabilities and a thorough understanding of the construction lifecycle. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving project demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a well-equipped field office tailored to project needs.
  • Review and comprehend contract documents, specifications, and submittals.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop a comprehensive CPM schedule and manage it throughout the project.
  • Formulate and uphold a site logistics plan for efficient project execution.
  • Assist in defining scopes of work for subcontractors.
  • Conduct constructability assessments.
  • Lead preconstruction meetings with subcontractors before commencing work phases.
  • Direct field operations to ensure adherence to project plans.
  • Facilitate foreman meetings to ensure alignment and communication.
  • Engage in progress meetings with stakeholders.
  • Monitor RFIs, submittals, as-builts, and project changes.
  • Implement and manage the project's safety program.
  • Ensure quality control in line with the established quality assurance protocols.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 10 years in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project administration is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
