Speech Language Pathologist Home Health Opportunity

At Amedisys, we are committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in adults
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills
  • Provide aural rehabilitation and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate course work and a clinical practicum
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology
