SA Recycling is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of scrap metal, yard clean up and maintenance, and other general physical labor duties. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with varying weather conditions, and to adhere to all Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of previous general labor experience in the scrap metal or construction industries. Skid Loader/Skid Steer/Forklift experience is preferred. The Laborer will be responsible for operating equipment such as a forklift and skid steer, and will be required to perform daily inspections on equipment and report any defects or needed repairs to the supervisor. The Laborer will also be responsible for preparing autos for processing, and performing general clean up and yard maintenance. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, & SA Recycling safety, health, & environmental rules, regulations, policies, & procedures.
