Responsibilities:
  • Operate tractor-trailer units to transport freight to various locations
  • Load and unload freight using a forklift or manually, ensuring safe and efficient handling
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of freight shipments and delivery times
  • Collaborate with dockworkers to ensure smooth freight movement and loading/unloading processes
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A CDL with hazardous materials and twin/triple trailer endorsements
  • 12 months of previous tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Good physical health and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
