The Buyer plays a crucial role in acquiring top-notch products at competitive prices to meet the needs of internal stakeholders. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of the ERP system and effectively addressing requisition and supplier inquiries to resolve any challenges that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure high-quality merchandise at optimal costs to satisfy internal customer requirements.
• Maintain the integrity of the ERP system and manage requisition and supplier requests.
• Resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• A High School Diploma or G.E.D.; an Associate Degree in Business is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of procurement experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage comfortably with plant personnel, vendors, and senior management.
• Strong self-motivation and direction, along with a creative and ethical approach to work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), KSoft, and various computer systems.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and engage with various stakeholders simultaneously.
• Willingness to be available for on-call duties and occasional overtime.
• Capability to sit for extended periods and dexterity to operate computing equipment.
