With Alzheimer's being the most costly disease in the United States, incurring approximately $600 billion annually in both direct and indirect expenses, our mission is critical. The disease impacts 1 in 3 individuals over the age of 85 and 1 in 9 over 65. Our flagship product aims to minimize the occurrence and consequences of falls, which are the primary cause of hospital admissions for those with dementia. Our research indicates a reduction of falls by up to 80%, alongside a 40% average decrease in falls and an 80% reduction in emergency room visits due to falls. We have garnered support from leading venture capital firms and are actively collaborating with major service providers in the industry. Additionally, we have received grants from the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation, underscoring the national significance of our work as the aging population continues to grow, with projected costs of Alzheimer's and dementia expected to double in the next decade. As the availability of younger caregivers diminishes, leveraging technology to fill this gap is essential.


Your Responsibilities at SafelyYou

This is an on-site role. We are seeking a part-time (20 hours/week, with potential for increased hours) Logistics Coordinator to operate from our warehouse. The primary responsibility will be to oversee the management of incoming and outgoing installation materials and products. Key tasks include:

  • Overseeing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
  • Collaborating and communicating effectively with technicians, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in the logistics process.
  • Monitoring, tracking, and updating the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintaining precise records and logs of all transactions.
  • Engaging positively with team members and vendors.
  • Providing additional assistance as required.
  • Contributing to the organization and cleanliness of warehouse areas.
