Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. As a Traveling RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and clinics, and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent or manage them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
