Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based practice interventions such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with shelter staff to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment for residents.
  • Provide crisis management and support services as needed.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • 2 years of clinical experience working with children or youth, with at least 1 year in a residential setting.
  • Licensed in the relevant field of study or license eligible in the state of Michigan.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (highly preferred).
