Job Summary

Crossroads Health is seeking a licensed Early Childhood Counselor to join our team. As a leader in the behavioral health field, we offer a continuum of quality life-changing services to children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families.

About the Role

The Early Childhood Counselor will work with Early Childhood clients, providing diagnostic assessment, treatment, education, early intervention, and consultation services. This position is responsible for group and family treatment services, as well as consultation and intervention services to Crossroads Health Early Childhood programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform individual, group, and family counseling and treatment services
  • Provide therapeutic interventions in office, home, and/or in the community
  • Provide families with information and guidance in the development of a treatment plan
  • Perform crisis intervention activities as necessary
  • Act as point of contact between client and their families and other community resources

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree acceptable with 3 years of experience; Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work preferred
  • LSW or LPC licensure required; LISW or LPCC preferred
  • Knowledgeable about child development with a focus on social-emotional skills
  • Experienced in community organizing and/or team building; experienced with consulting with early childhood educational systems preferred but not required
  • Able to participate 2 evenings a week when needed
